MCPS's decision on Wootton High School isn't about protecting one community or advancing another. It's about doing what’s right for the entire school system. Yesterday, the Maryland Building Industry Association (@buildmd) sent a letter to the Board of Education urging MCPS to "reject Option H" warning that Option H would permanently reduce high school capacity in one of the county’s fastest-growing areas and constrain planned residential development critical to Montgomery County’s long-term housing and economic goals. lettermbia.tiiny.site/ When countywide business leaders are warning that Option H causes delays, increases costs, and undermines long-term planning, MCPS should reject Option H and choose a solution that is fair, fiscally responsible, and sustainable for every community.
