Chain clearing using two dozers and a six-tonne chain. This is a common clearing method in Australia to prep and maintain agricultural land. This area specifically is for grazing and became overgrown with trees again after years of no management. What's happening here is like pulling weeds in a garden, only on a bigger scale! Land management = healthy land! But some city folk can't quite conceptualize this!

Most people have never heard of bauxite, yet they couldn't live without the essential metal it eventually transforms into: aluminum. #aluminum

Engineers design these loaders with a low profile for their underground world, but don't let them fool you... That bucket has the same capacity (11 CM or 14 CY) as a Cat 992K mining loader!

This is the LONGEST heavy haul ice road in the WORLD! Every winter in Canada’s Northwest Territories, this frozen highway becomes the only lifeline to some of the most remote diamond mines on earth. For just a few short weeks, thousands of truckloads of fuel, equipment, and supplies are hauled hundreds of kilometers over nothing but ice… before it all melts away.

Paving with a D6N equipped with sprayers for the tracks and blade, triple grouser pads, and grade control. Waiting pavers finished the final surface once the dozer did the bulk of the work. There was no time to waste—planes were scheduled to land in this exact spot only hours later.

This is a refurbished dragline mining limestone for cement production in Florida. Once the machine piles it on the surface, loaders mine the piles after the water drains. The operator relies on depth marks and an advanced computer system to gauge where he’s digging.

I’m requesting this style the next time I get a haircut. Think I can get this at Great Clips?

This incident occurred in January 2020 at a shopping center (or centre in King’s English) near Townsville, Australia. — It may be the cleanest ATM heist I’ve seen. Our boy plowed through a few bollards, scooped up the entire ATM, then carried it away without drama.

That’s 90 cubic meters, or 120 cubic yards, of overburden in less than 30 seconds… TOUGH!

Dawn dish soap. A 5.3-million-pound bridge. And a move most people never even noticed. Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction pulled off a magic trick, swapping an entire bridge, removing the old one, and sliding in a brand-new structure in just 48 hours.
