A surgeon scientist who has had continuous @NIH funding since 1981, one of the pioneers of the Genomics of Injury - Glue Grant study, 400 peer reviewed publications, member of several Editorial Boards, started one of the earliest and most productive Trauma/CC fellowships in the nation @harborviewmc , past Board Member @AmBdSurg and Past President of numerous societies including @AmCollSurgeons @traumadoctors @AmerSurg @SurgInfxSoc His 1992 SUS Presidential Address "To be or not to be?" was one of the earliest calls for what is now known as the "4 3" surgical training paradigm.
