Today is #WorldAIDSDay and this year is especially meaningful. From sharing my story @British_Airways, to presenting to the @metpoliceuk, and the @UKMoD_DefenceRT now allowing people living with HIV to serve as aircrew. Seminal Progress. There's more to do, and I’m here for it💪🏻
This change happened because people living with HIV never give up, and because Terrence Higgins Trust and @BritishHIVAssoc made clear that a better way was possible.

What a week!
10 years ago today, I was diagnosed with HIV. The first question I asked the doctor was, "How long will I live?". We didn't know then, but we know now, that the answer to that question is just as long as you!
Yesterday, 10 years after that life-changing moment, my dream finally became a reality, and I flew my very first flight for British Airways. To everyone who has helped me throughout the journey so far, THANK YOU. I couldn't have done it without you.
There's more work to be done for people across the world who face challenges just like mine, and I want to help. For now though it's time to get acquainted with the new office and if I don't see you before, see you in the sky!

Please watch and share.
Fiercely independent, quick witted and inconspicuously kind. I can only hope that if I make it to 82, I do it with the same style and grace as you. What you've left behind will never be replaced but I promise we won't forget. I love you Nan ❤️
