helping and rehabilitating pigeons is such a harsh โhobbyโ. not all pigeons have a happy ending, sometimes they take their last breath in my arms. some injuries are traumatizing to see. but iโm so glad i can make a difference for some.
just got a message about a young wood pigeon, when i arrived the whole back part of his body was missing :( (tail, butt, feet) and there was maggots crawling all over his back part. the nearest vet euthenized him for free. iโve never seen it this bad :((((

They absolutely can, I was my most active at my sickest. The energy and euphoria you get from starvation is real, addictive, and a HUGE part of what makes battling anorex*a so difficult. Having an ED isn't a moral failing, idk why you people keep defending it like it is.
