While measuring, it kept coming back to life. Sure enough, cracked solderjoints seen in this area. Also tarnished resistors.

My colleagues laptop bios password reset. Another laptop from 2016 is not going to waste. The sane can't be said for newer laptops with bios locked and lost passwords?

Denon pma repair. Class AB amp. Scope shows positive and negative DC levels before push pull transistors. Good. Left channel, ok. Right channel dead. No dc levels, no signal. Seems to change when warming up.

Sometimes the bias is correct, like here it springs to correct levels, but not always.

The fault is in the power amp section. I will double check the measurements, but it does look like something is turning off two transistors. From memory I think all transistors working in the linear region have to be on all the time?
