he's may not be alone. when I spoke with Lyle Thompson at the '23 World Championship, he made it clear that his time as one of the all-time great field players was nearing its end....
Certainly sounds like Zed is done (at least with the field game). Tough to see a guy like Zed hang them up. A great player on the field and a great person off it. All the best to Zed and his family. Hopefully he still has more left in him in the NLL/Haudenosaunee National Teams

Shaquille O'Neal explains why he agreed with his ex-wife when she said she never loved him “She didn't think she ever really loved me and my response was I wouldn't have loved me either” “As a man I was failing. A man has three jobs with a woman. Protect, provide and love. At that point in my life, I failed her in all three areas” “I was an asshole. I was an idiot. She was 1000% correct. I failed her as a husband, as a protector and as a provider” “She's not my wife anymore but she gave me five beautiful children. I'll always protect her”

Not everyone can do the noble profession of podcasting about betting lines.
I find the 2 most insufferable group of people on the planet are lifetime educators and lifetime politicians. Both live in a fantasy world that lacks common sense and would not survive a day in the real world

THIS!!!!!!
I realize local news has deviated from the tenets of journalism to keep the lights on, but if you are a reporter at a TV station and decide to wear a jersey of any kind doing a sports story, you should have the words "I have no credibility" emblazoned on the back of it.

The Spurs know how to TAKE the lead, they just don't know how to HOLD the lead. And that's really the most important part of the lead: the holding

Cannot recommend the latest epic from @MarkKriegel enough. His book on Mike Tyson's rise, "Baddest Man," is an unfiltered thrill ride. There hasn't been an athlete humanized like this in a long time: amazon.com/Baddest-Man-Makin…

Six belong to the genius Gordon Jenkins. One of the great books is this by his son, the genius sportswriter @Bruce_Jenkins1. It contains the best interview, period, with Sinatra, amid one man's shattering quest to understand his dad: amazon.com/Goodbye-Search-Go…

There’s certainly going to be some speculation for Lars Tiffany to come home and coach for 🍊🥍 Would/can Gait pull that off? Hey. After they hired Pietramala a few years ago, I don’t rule anything out
It's almost as if there's a major spot open now for a defensive-minded big-time coach from the Syracuse area:
