Selling only 7,500 tickets isn't a rejection of Tony Mowbray, it’s a protest against the regime. Fans are tired of being asked to bail the club out with our money when the club's identity feels hollowed out by over a decade of mismanagement from The Venky’s. 🤔 #Rovers 🔵⚪️

The managerial hunt reveals a fascinating power dynamic at Blackburn. After 12 months without a CEO, Gestede & Pasha have held the keys. Now Steve Curwood arrives, creating a shifting hierarchy just as we pick between Bilić, Mowbray, or Challinor. 🤔 #Rovers 🔵⚪

🚨 BREAKING: The Court of Delhi officially ends all Rovers-related restrictions on VHPL. Venky’s can now transfer funds overseas freely for any use, with £9.6m released from personal guarantees. The financial chokehold is over and we just got pulled out of the bottom tier!
My personal take on how each Championship club will be allowed to operate under the new 26/27 SCR framework, based on my analysis of their core financial sustainability metrics: 👇

If Burnley don’t go straight back up, they are in serious trouble under the new SCR rules. Because they only spent one year in the PL, they only get two years of parachutes, and year two drops by 10%. With a strict 85% cap, they'll be forced into immediate player liquidation.

This is just my opinion based on my own knowledge and judgment. Do I have all the answers? No. But if the Venky’s restrictions were lifted, Rovers would surpass a lot of teams through our Cat 1 academy value and the £33m injection we’d be allowed to put in like the rest.

Seeing a lot of confusion over this. The court cleared the £18.4m strictly for operational debts. It is legally banned from being used as direct equity or transfer funding. Until the main capital flight case is completely resolved, the restrictions remain fully active. 🤔
🚨 Rovers are set to receive £18.4m in funding from Venky's. Latest court request has been approved, once again without any personal guarantee. Full picture explained below💰 #Rovers🌹 lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sp…

My guess is Watford, Sheffield United, and Hull would have been 3 of the 4 clubs to vote against the SCR rule. And if Cardiff was included at the time of voting given their Championship status, most definitely them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 85% SCR rule hurts Blackburn because it strictly bans using director loans to boost spending caps. Because Venky’s are blocked by Indian courts from injecting direct equity, we can't use alternative loan loops like our rivals can. 🤔 #Rovers 🔵⚪

I live in Lancashire and half my family are Scousers. It would’ve been so easy to support Manchester United or Liverpool, especially living up north, where no one would have questioned it. But no, I support Blackburn. Unfortunately you don’t choose your club, the club chooses you
Only people who disagree are glory hunters…you’ll notice none of these people from London support Burnley, weird that ain’t it 🤔

It’s crazy that X Factor had an ‘Over 25s’ category. 11 year old me was sat there thinking they were so brave for trying to achieve their dreams at such a late stage in life

Blackburn’s avg attendance in 09/10 (Pre-Venky’s): 25,428 Blackburn’s avg attendance in 25/26: 13,535 That is an 11,893 (47%) drop. This is what happens when you spend 15 years rotting under one of the worst ownership in English football. 🤔 #Rovers 🔵⚪️

Another L from the CDL. Competitive integrity has gone out the window because they want to maximise viewership and excitement. Embarrassing 😤 @JPKrez @DKarma @H3CZ @Methodz @scump @BoZe
Good conversation on Finals format - this is essentially showing the impact of the bracket reset. While we all agree the Winner’s Bracket team deserves an advantage, our position has been that having two lives in the Finals is too big of an edge and this data seems to reinforce that. WB teams winning 80% of the time entering the Finals can dampen the excitement: 1) The outcome seems predetermined and 2) during the match it's not as intense since it's not do-or-die for the WB team during a large portion of the match. Now should there be a bigger advantage for WB? Potentially (e.g., 1 map win). But we don’t think a bracket reset is the answer. Winning 4x as much (vs the 2nd best team no less) seems imbalanced and I’d argue that the now 60/40 split between winner of WB and LB is much healthier
