After a long Fantasy League season, the Staff Student Byrchall League has come to an end. The winner of the league was Mr Powell, and the winner of Byrchall Fantasy Cup was Y8 student Harrison Christy, beating Mr Scott, who has now lost the final 2 years running to Y8 students!
Weekly Student Spotlight: Alex Fahey
Alex has played football for 9 years and been with Blackpool FC for 7. He’s just signed a new 2-year contract and helped his team win the Copa Santa 26 in Barcelona! Watch the video to hear more about Alex’s story!
A huge well done to Paddy!
Playing for the Manchester United @ManUtd Ability Counts U16s at the MUDSA Cup 2026 @MudsaO, Paddy helped his team secure 3rd place. Selected through the Manchester United Foundation @MU_Foundation, they were presented with a medal by Sammy McIlroy!

After their final assembly, Year 11 enjoyed a farewell lunch, signing shirts and spending time together before the next chapter begins.

Last Friday, Year 11 enjoyed one final assembly filled with memories, tutor messages, laughter and a few tears. We also celebrated our Boscar winners, recognising the personalities and moments that made this year group unforgettable.

This morning, our Year 8 students competed in a fast-paced relay, with runners racing between Miss Johnson and their forms to complete a series of quirky challenges. Lots of teamwork, competitiveness and laughter throughout the morning. Well done, everyone!

We are incredibly proud of Alexander, who has retained another two-year contract with @BlackpoolFC and is now moving up to the U15s.
