Imagine if Ottawa had invested in electric buses instead of #LRT
We'd have a fully electrified system now. We might even have better charging infrastructure if city councillors had not decided to dust off a cancelled project.

It would have been better if Ottawa had never built an LRT system. To persuade people to take public transit, it must be RELIABLE. Buses were at least reliable. Its unforgiveable corners were cut so @JimWatsonOttawa could check some boxes. LRT has put our city back 25 years.

Remember how OC transpo decided it was OK to conduct only some of 12 continuous days of testing? Summer conditions & still multiple problems

It's the new GHG reduction strategy. Diesel buses every 20 minutes will kill the planet at a slower rate

All the crisis comms in the world can’t fix a system that doesn’t work.
Imagine being reliant on transit because you work in a job where you don’t have the luxury of work from home and can’t afford to drive.

Is that a new Best Practice for transportation management?
Is that a sustainable solution? Forecasting full ridership in 2022? Were finance staff crossing fingers too?

Declaring that you are 'losing your mind' is a reason for a staff member's Fitness For Work to be assessed. Do different rules apply to everything in the mayor's office??
Just so we are clear - the mayor can “loose his mind” about the #LRT, but I can’t speak the truth without them conspiring to contrive reasons to remove me from Commission? Cool cool.

The shamed former treasurer was 'retired' more than 2 yrs ago. Hers have probably been destroyed.
