Team USA is going to look a lot different to what they have in previous years/tournaments. 9 players started tonight whom play in Europe and they have a top manager from the European scene too. Totally different to previous times

Mauricio Pochettino just showed the USA team what it means to have a top manager! Beat Paraguay in every tactical aspect, great start team USA but tougher days ahead 🇺🇸

Good lord Paraguay are absolutely dreadful, US are doing the same thing every time and Paraguay are just not adjusting. Their full backs are getting turned every US possession, Dreadful dreadful dreadful. US could get 6 here if they keep the foot on the gas

As a part-American, allow me explain the difference. I have been to many sporting events all around the USA, and of course, many in the UK and in Europe (because Aston Villa are massive). For Americans, sport is about entertainment. Big scores, no draws. What happens on the pitch is almost secondary to the performance. Hence pop songs between every play, all kinds of mascot and cheerleader shenanigans, the Armed Forces shenanigans before kick off. This vid was taken at Purdue at half time when they were getting absolutely pumped by Notre Dame. Embarrassing defeat: doesn’t matter, the show must go on. For Brits, football is something more existential. The seemingly unprompted unison chants, the camaraderie, the explosion upon scoring a goal… nothing in US sports matches it. Not even close. The old grounds and history are part of the charm. I wouldn’t swap battered old Villa Park for any of the US sports arenas I’ve visited. That doesn’t mean both aren’t a splendid day out, and I love my IU, Colts and Cubs, but the American sports experience does not come close to the British football experience for sheer emotion and spontaneity - EXCEPT in finals, when the jeopardy and tension is on a par.

Bengals fan thinks they gonna be a top 10 defence this year 🤔 I personally think it’s a make or break season for them, no play offs no burrow year after for me #ravensflock
The #Bengals need to make 2 of the following moves: - Sign Bobby Okereke - Sign Bobby Wagner - Sign Jahlani Tavai - Trade for Jordyn Brooks - Sign Matt Milano We are so close to having a Top 10 defense right now... just need linebackers

What do we think to @ChrisWechtFF ravens breakdown of the drafted players, I like the look of lane and hibs #ravens #RavensFlock
The Ravens took a pair of WRs and TEs in the 2026 NFL draft, but the way they discussed the players was very different For Ja'Kobi Lane they said they view him as a RZ threat For Elijah Sarratt they said they view him as a big slot player For Matthew Hibner he was coached by Jesse Minter at Michigan and viewed as a explosive receiver For Josh Cuevas they said they view him as a competitive blocker

Fantastic read and work from M.Silver here. Get on it #ravensflock #ravens
The GM got his mojo back. The owner sweated out a pick. The "assistant GM" consumed 7,000 calories in seven hours. My story on eventful @Ravens draft, for @TheAthletic (FREE LINK) nytimes.com/athletic/7232755…

Some numbers for the giants cap situation, does this leave enough to tie down dj reader #ravens #ravensflock #giants
The Giants' salary cap space post-Dexter Lawrence trade has been updated in the NFLPA database. They're at $18.6M. Over the Cap estimates the Giants' draft class to count $14.9M against the cap. Assuming the Giants sign DJ Reader post-draft, I expect him to break their run of minimum-contract signings and eat most of their cap space. So more cap gymnastics will be necessary eventually (restructure Andrew Thomas) unless they trade Kavyon Thibodeaux. That would create $14.8M in cap space, which should be enough to get through the season.

Would this be an option for the ravens? Can you imagine pitts on this team 🤩 #ravens #ravensflock
𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭: The Falsons are "open" to dealing star tight end Kyle Pitts leading up to and during the draft, per @AdamSchefter "Watch to see if the Falcons can find a trade partner for Kyle Pitts, who they're open to dealing." Kyle has the potential to be the best TE in the NFL.

Not sure I believe the 2 first round picks, hopefully EDC doing some due diligence. #ravens #ravensflock
At this hour, I can report that the #Ravens have contacted the #Giants about the availability of Dexter Lawrence. Bob, how does this relate to the #nfldraft you ask? Giants line in the sand has been 2 FRPs plus. Thought on the plus is 2026 Day 3 pick or ascending player.

Definitely not a #swfc fan, But just so I'm clear, their former owner asset strips club, leaves Hillsborough in a state, doesn't pay staff/players. Leaves. Then EFL want new owners to pay over the odds to compensate Chansiri?! Then deduct SW another 15 points? That's insane #lufc
