Okay - day 2 of dysfunctional Daily Adventure Incense in @PokemonGoApp - @NianticHelp I was able to get spawns by closing and re-opening the game after catching every incense spawn. It’s cumbersome and annoying but at least I didn’t spoil my lunch break today.

Okay - @NianticHelp I did the full 30 minutes of Daily Adventure Incense. On foot. Normal walking pace. I saw these first two spawns at the onset and nothing after that. No, I did not move from WiFi to cellular. Yes, I have the latest iOS and latest version of the app. Downloaded all assets as recently as Sunday. Yes, I restarted the game several times to no avail. Let me know if you have any questions. I’d appreciate a fix before tomorrow’s lunch break, thank you 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Yeahhhh @NianticHelp so I’m over 20 minutes into today’s Adventure Incense and nothing is spawning. It sucks, can’t even switch to regular Incense 🤣 might want to fix this. I burned a Star Piece and Lucky Egg and Ice Burn activation for this and there’s nothing. Thanks!

Man I miss Go Fest already… sucks every year.

So I’m predicting that Go Fest will be at Grant Park in Chicago again in 2027. 6/4-6/6, with gameplay starting 6/3. Niantic’s contract with the city includes an option to extend to 2027 with defined terms, but no specific dates. And I suspect it’ll be easier to store all the physical assets locally for 11 months and take advantage of the existing agreement than shop around for another host city. And for the dates, I believe Niantic will continue its Go Fest scheduling pattern that started last year and was repeated this year. When seeking accommodations in Chicago for this year’s Go Fest, I found limited options in OCTOBER 2025. It was brutal and I ended up staying over a hour away by public transit. With so much happening in the city at once during the summer, I think affordable lodging nearby is harder to find than it was in and around NYC this time of year. So I found a place at a decent price for @WarlordSeb_ and I for $0 down that’s much closer to the action with free cancellation. Cuz if I’m right, it’ll be even more difficult to find a place to stay for a good price next summer. If I’m wrong, I cancel and reassess. I have nothing to lose in preparing now.

After Chicago Go Fest, I can’t imagine traveling straight to Copenhagen for another round. Or having attended Chicago after 8 days in Tokyo. The ability of these players to rally is incredible.

Chicago Go Fest 2026 Day 4 XP: 10,090,988 Stardust: 2,146,994 Distance: 15.6 miles Legendary Raids: 236 Regular Raids: 15 Eggs hatched: 180 Pokémon caught: 2,779 Shinies: 43 Brutal event but I’m proud of my hustle. I have no idea how some of you people put up so many Raids per day 🤣😩

Go Fest Chicago 2026 has been epic. I’m still working out how best to put it into words. However - I’ve been reminded of a valuable lesson as far as Raid “gambling” for shiny background Pokémon. On top of that, I recognize that when jealousy for someone’s successes gets in the way of my good time, I need to re-assess my priorities for future events. Just because I only landed 3 shiny background Mons in almost 1,000 Raids, doesn’t mean the event is ruined or garbage. I had tons of success elsewhere. The shiny background luck just wasn’t in my favor; the Raid RNG wasn’t in my favor, and that’s simply the nature of the beast. Congrats to everyone who raked in Raid shinies with backgrounds 🙌🏼

Chicago Go Fest 2026 Day 3 XP: 8,359,134 Stardust: -770,357 (maxed multiple shundos and Zeraora) Distance: 15.7 miles Legendary Raids: 141 Regular Raids: 22 Eggs hatched: 184 Pokémon caught: 2,913 Shinies: 55 Not a bad day. Raids are brutal… getting shinies and backgrounds but hardly any shiny backgrounds 🤣 Will hopefully trade for shiny background Raikou.

Chicago Go Fest 2026 Day 2 XP: 5,789,586 Stardust: 1,611,029 (Spacial Rend all day) Distance: 11 miles Legendary Raids: 102 Regular Raids: 24 Eggs hatched: 139 Pokémon caught: 2,248 Shinies: 43 I slept in and stopped raiding an hour and a half early. Have to take care of myself so I can rally the last half of the event. Still a fantastic day overall and ready for the Grant Park tomorrow 🙌🏼

Huge first day though. Might sleep in tomorrow, 5am start was fun but brutal. It’s a marathon not a sprint 😅

Washed on Raid background shinies all morning. Ran off to knock out the 4 Districts in Chicago. I think I’m good. @PokemonGoApp This beats anything I could have landdd today.
