I'm so proud of this project. Given the challenges with early detection and limited treatment options for ovarian cancer, the most effective way to impact ovarian cancer incidence and outcomes NOW is through prevention. Such bright minds working on this! Check it out.
JUST ANNOUNCED: OCC, researchers and clinicians in Canada, and individuals with lived experience join forces to establish The Ovarian Cancer Prevention Task Force, thanks to funding from The AstraZeneca-Merck Alliance. ovariancanada.org/ovarian-ca…

OCC is deeply saddened by the news of Kim Rudd’s passing. Kim was a vital voice in our research advocacy movement, a fierce advocate on and off the Hill, and a leader in her community and across Canada. We thank Kim for championing this important cause. ctvnews.ca/politics/kim-rudd…

I first met Kim Rudd in Sept 2016. She was the first MP @OvarianCanada met with to discuss our research plan. Kim championed our cause long before she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and she continued long after. She was a force and I will miss her. 1/2

This gives me goosebumps. I’m so proud to work for @OvarianCanada where we reject the notion that ovarian cancer can’t be eradicated.
The impact of an ovarian cancer diagnosis is hard to go unnoticed. So are we. A bold new brand identity is about to arrive as we pursue a future where deaths from this disease are zero. #DemandAction

This amazing woman was a FORCE! I just finished the @OvarianCanada Walk of Hope in St. John’s, NL and read this very sad news. Tyler, I’m so sorry for your loss. I had incredible respect and fondness for your mom.

Couldn't agree more! Let's keep doing amazing things ;) @OvarianCanada @morganpughtoole @riley_arseneau @Dal_LeungLab
Amazing things happen when scientists that treat patients partner with those who make #innovation, like at the Ovarian Cancer Research Facility, a research center at the edge of health tech. Their tireless work behind scenes plays an invaluable role in protecting our health 🇨🇦

To prevent ovarian cancer, for which there is no reliable screening test, a top research group is urging women who are not at a high genetic risk to consider having their fallopian tubes removed under certain circumstances if they are done having children.nyti.ms/3DxhzRI

We humans can be beautiful.
❤️ A cancer patient went to the hairdresser, watch until the end. Compassion can move me to tears.
