From Mexico to Canada, we've survived by pure grit, determination, and the kindness of others. Thanks to those who have believed in our journey and supported in any way. I guess it's true that not all who wander are lost, some of us are just crazy! Congrats PCT Class of 2024! π
Film photos coming soon π
Leaving for Alaska in less than two weeks where I'll be working the salmon run. 2 months on a remote beach with no cell service. Looking forward to the adventure and seclusion. Say yes to new opportunities, you never know where you'll end up next βοΈ π π
Winter, for me, a time of reflection, an opportunity to hone in on what I love, a season of adventure, a reminder that it's okay to just exist, to love, to dream.
Still taking photos, still chasing dreams. I've been MIA for a bit but I'm still out here. Just got back from two months in Mexico and it was absolutely phenomenal. One of the best experiences of my life getting to bikepack, hitch-hike, and eat through Oaxaca. WOW!!
Stoked to have my work featured on the @exchgART homepage once again! This piece is very dear to me.
Featured: Whispered Adieu β¨οΈ From the Trailside Chronicles Collection. A 2,200 mile journey on the Appalachian Trail.
I saw it in my mind, planned how and where to shoot itβ¦wasnβt expecting snow.
Comet A3 Atlas over a frosty ForgetMeNot Pond in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies with the Milky Way filling the night skies.
I will never forget the week Atlas passed overhead.
Details below.
You know I couldn't resist the urge for another expedition. Next week we leave for Mexico to bikepack around Oaxaca and photograph all of its wild landscapes and the people who live there π²π½ π²
I'm very sad to announce that during the ruckus of flying from Washinton to Texas on very little sleep, I left my film camera on the plane π’ I contacted @SouthwestAir but they haven't been able to locate it yet. I carried this beast 2,600 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail shooting dozens of rolls along the way. She served me well but we had to part ways too soon. RIP to my Canon F-1 π
