Like much of American life, going to college has drastically changed over the years. And with that change came the decay of the American college culture that made it so unique and special. covered for MAMA by @barrywrites1488

Great article that pulls some heart strings for me, having grown up in an Asian suburb where people cared more about getting into Stanford than having a fun high school experience

Don't pay attention to what boomers say, or what house they bought in 1987. Pay attention to how overweight they are, how much TV they watch, and how many grandkids they have.

What exactly is a “striver?” Seems like something losers hurl at high achievers because they’re envious

Brits always do the whole "wE'rE SELf DepReCAtInG yoU wOuLDn't UNdeRStand OUr HUMor!!" shtick and it's like yeah... I get it but it's too contrived if you lay it on thick
i think i’ve figured out why they all think we’re bragging. American humor is very hyperbolic. we exaggerate and speak dramatically bc that’s funny to us. European humor (especially British) tends to be more dry. they are confusing jokes for ego.

Twitter really puts these "For You" posts on here to bait us don't they?
At 34 my first marriage ended, left my job to change careers and go back to school, moves to a different city with no support network. 5 years later at 39 I’ve found family in friends, call London my home, working on my first high end TV job, and found love again. What an arc.

Lol, he was a cop guys. We live in such an insane time period. The people of the UK and Ireland have every right to riot.
UPDATE: Hadi Alodi, a Sudanese man charged with attempted murder after the Belfast knife attack, served as a policeman in Khartoum, friends have told The Telegraph. Find out more about him ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2…

There are around a billion women stuck at home in horribly patriarchal third world countries, who often don't even dare going outside because either their family forbids it or going outside is plain dangerous and gets you instant harassed. They spend all day online, learning English through a combination of school and kpop/anime/games/shows and get extremely radicalised; the experience of seeing the women portrayed in that media as often free, independent, beautiful etc creates unimaginable rage against men in them, because life COULD be so much better. It then gets sublimated into these 24/7 viral shitposts. It's going to nuke fertility harder than even the most hitlerian sterilisation program you can think of.

A man refusing condoms is "a preference" but a women refusing pregnancy is "murder". That isn't morality, it's misogyny.
