There are really nice examples up and down this thread of disagreeing agreeably, wanting more information (as @Maxeonyx is doing) and being spiky and belligerent. Really nice to see this redirection back into wanting more information.

Sometimes I like to think about the things I don't know about. Not to find out, just to think about it. Like how long do snails live? You could tell me 100 years or like 3 weeks. No idea. I don't want to know. I like to imagine it's 100 years.

This is a cool idea. One nice deployment of LLMs could be to provide more transparency about local / state / federal spending as it relates to one's personal tax bill. Making the system more transparent might show how convoluted it is and where it's useful.

I wonder if people’s views would remain the same if we just abolished property taxes and instead sent local residents bills for police service, fire service, EMS, jail fees, school fees, road/sidewalk/sewer/etc infrastructure maintenance fees, library fee, parks fee, etc
