The funniest part about researching MegaTen demons is that you'll randomly find out the inspiration behind Yu-Gi-Oh cards as well. I never would've known that the Live Twins are a reference to the Sumerian demon Kiskil-lilla and Apkallone is for the Akkadian god Apkallu.

Everytime I have to hear someone say Persona 1 should get a remake that changes everything unique about it to appeal to people who don't even like the game

I hope ATLUS continues this trend of hinting that an upcoming game will be featured at a show then revealing something else totally unexpected with it. It makes for a fun week.

I can't stop thinking about how Soejima relates this design to how masculinity romanticizes violence. It's really interesting considering some of the SLs, the nature of the crimes in P4, and the villain's Persona being a corruption of the MC's. Might do a full video about this.
