Hundreds of thousands of students in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are getting their A-level, T-level and BTec National results this morning. More than a quarter of A-level entrants are expected to score top grades.
UCAS is predicting a record number of 18-year-olds will get their first choice of university, even if they narrowly miss their grades.

We stand with @RNID and @SignHealth in calling for an urgent reform to the NHS Accessible Information Standard.
Our latest report, with @SignHealth, reveals shocking failures in the NHS affecting over 7 million adults across the UK who are deaf or have hearing loss.
We want governments, NHS organisations, GPs and other NHS services to take action.

ALT 7 millions adults across the UK are affected by the healthcare failings of the NHS.
ALT 69% of people say that they have never been asked about their communication needs.
ALT 25% of people say that they are not able to contact their GP in an accessible way, rising to 49% of BSL users.
ALT Only 56% of people say that they leave their NHS appointments having understood the information that they were given about their health.
