Yet another reverend and his family slaughtered for their faith in Christ in Nigeria. As the Church, we must stand tall in the face of giants. As David took down Goliath, as Daniel in the lions den, as Jesus Christ faced the cross. We are called to lock arms with our brothers and sisters in the fire, as the waters rise, as the sword is drawn. There is no single threat nor persecution that will force us to reject the one true living God. We will not cower. We will not bow. We will not submit to that which is false. Our faith is on an immovable foundation on the rock of Jesus Christ. We hold fast to Romans 8:35-39 which says, β€œWho shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, β€œFor your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Growing up, do your parents give you your upkeep allowance willingly or you have to ask for it?

If Ogun State can have an Airport, other states have no excuse. Does Ekiti state have an airport for commercial flights?
If your state lacks an airport in the 21st century, consider replacing your governor immediately.

YOU DON'T FLY WITH A PILOT!!! The person flying the plane is called the Captain or First Officer. "Pilot" is just a license/rating, not a job title. ✍️
YOU DON'T WRITE JAMB!!! JAMB is a board, not an exam. The exam is called UTME ✍️

A CGPA of 4.49/5.00 does not qualify as a First-Class honour. Please keep this in mind and act accordingly.

Someone saw me and asked, "Am I a real Captain?" I laughed and replied, "I am an aspiring Captain" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚... There is power in the tongue, isn't there?

Every aircraft undergoes Checks. They include: 1 ) A-Check: This takes place every ~400–600 flight hours. This is a light inspection and can be done overnight. 2) B-Check: This takes place every ~6–8 months (mostly phased into A-checks now). 3) C-Check: This takes place every ~18–24 months. Here, the aircraft goes into the hangar. There would be a full structural inspection with a minimum of 4 weeks of work. 4) D-Check (Heavy Maintenance Visit): This takes place every 6–10 YEARS. The aircraft is literally stripped to its bones. It costs millions. Takes months. By the time that an aircraft lands in front of you, it has passed more checks than most cars will in a lifetime. Aviation doesn't tolerate guesswork. That's why it's the safest mode of transport ever built. #Avionics #Aviation #MRO #AircraftMaintenance
Most people think aircraft maintenance is magic. Some don't even believe there's anything called aircraft maintenance. Their own is to fly to Lagos or any part of the world and go to their respective houses. Just as pilots and cabin crew are important, so are Aircraft Engineers. Here's how maintenance actually works on a commercial aircraft 🧡 Maintenance is divided into two broad categories, which include: 1) ✈️ LINE MAINTENANCE. This is done at the gate/apron, the exact place where passengers board the aircraft. 2) πŸ—οΈ BASE MAINTENANCE. This is done in the hangar, and Nigeria has many hangars. We have an Air Force hangar, an Aero Contractors hangar, an Overland Airways hangar, and several others. During Line Maintenance, you will perform your daily checks, which include Pre-flight, Transit, and Daily/overnight checks. Watch out for the next post. #Avionics #Aviation #MRO #AircraftMaintenance

Getting a "B" in a 6-credit load won't stop you from achieving First Class honours if you know what you're doing. A "B" in a 6-credit load is equivalent to two "B" grades in a 3-credit load, which equals a "C" in a 3-credit load. Some scholars have earned a "D" in a course and still graduated with First-Class honours. Just make sure your grades in other courses are excellent (A's), and you'll be fine.

Most scholars have experienced this, but if you're as wise as a serpent and as innocent as a dove, like meπŸ˜œπŸ˜‚, you'll avoid wasting energy unnecessarily. Some scholars graduated with a Second class upper because they wasted their energy tutoring coursemates or ladies. By the time they decide to read, half the time is gone. In life, balance is key to everything. Having the spirit of wisdom cannot be overemphasised. May the Lord give you understanding!!!
Uni is a wild place, ajeh. If you no get sense, dem go borrow yours and use am finish you. One of those nights, I dey read at night in the Admin Extension on campus. I was seated near five girls as space no too dey when I overheard them discussing, β€œHe go soon come. We go ask am to explain the ones we never understand.”
