Classy from the narrowly defeated Labour mayoral candidate in Croydon (lost by 1% when the Greens took 17%). Rowenna ran a great local campaign and has a big future when not attached to the Starmer drag anchor. The Tories made big gains on Croydon council and RD nearly won against the swing. Labour will now spend months arguing about which way to turn. They’d be better off picking some high calibre MPs individuals like her and listening to them
Thank you Croydon ❤️

Today, on the 37th anniversary of Hillsborough, I stood in the Commons as Parliamentary lead of the Hillsborough Law campaign and with a profound sense of obligation to the 97, their families including my constituent Debbie Matthews, survivors, and all victims of state cover‑ups. I asked the Prime Minister to use the power of his office to make good on his promise to finally deliver a full Hillsborough Law that is worthy of the name. #JFT97 #HillsboroughLawNow

“And the sun shines now.” The moving BBC radio commentary on the Hillsborough Disaster by Peter Jones. He never recovered from the trauma of Hillsborough. On 31 March 1990 he had a stroke during University Boat Race and died 36 hours later (aged 60).

37 years ago today thousands of Liverpool fans went to the semi final of the FA Cup. 97 never went home while another 760 needed treatment for their injuries. The lies, the cover-ups only made the families of the victims stronger, finally getting partial justice in 2017.

tonight @BBCNewsnight are leading on @POTUS press conference about paracetamol. Any cursery medical lit review of the impact of paracetamol and a causal link to autism would have told the production team there's not a scintilla of credible evidence to suggest there is

Just thought I’d give you a look at my CCM Editorial for this current edition. 🏏 I’m not saying I’m right. Just saying I’m concerned and yes, money is DUE to go to the grassroots game.
