The community captions page now includes a search bar for playlists and videos captioned within the platform.
You can search for video titles, translated video titles, channel info and playlist names.

Quality metrics (characters per line and characters per second) are now visible within Captionfy's editor.
Hovering them shows you the recommended values, which are industry standards (usually between 40-42 CPL and 20 CPS).

The user profile page was having issues on small devices and these should be fixed now. You can edit your profile and check your work using your phone.

You can now sort the videos in your playlist by going to the playlist page and clicking "Sort subtitles".
It automatically saves the new order.

You may have noticed that every time you edit your subtitles, it triggers an auto-save.
Today #captionfy has introduced a warning in case your internet connection drops, so that you make sure to download your work, or check your connection.
You can "try again" as well 👀

Some users have reported lagging issues in the editor when dragging subtitle blocks in the timeline - if you experience this, feel free to reach out with a message to help investigate the root cause.

Incredible how much performance improvement captionfy.com got after switching from an Angular app to @nextjs
Completely worth it the time to rebuild the platform. Along with performance improvements, the development speed / experience has got much better 👀

I am so used to watching video previews without sound and just the subtitles. Crazy how so many videos on YouTube are still with very bad auto-generated subtitles, or none at all.
