Lyn @captured_online has put together a video from our trip to the Scottish Highlands in September. What an adventure it was! Well worth a watch 🎣 👀 🏴

Pissed down all day, but come 3pm, the sun showed its face, and the nymph rod was tossed aside as fish started to rise. This was the only grayling of the day but it measured 17.5”, and had scoffed my size 18 Red Tag dry.
Tonight was the first time Oscar had seen a mink as we watched it swim across the swollen river. A special moment, a moment he wouldn’t experience sat on the sofa, on his phone. Oscar isn’t a fisherman, but to hear him say ‘I enjoyed that Dad’ was a beautiful thing #RiverLoughor
I’ve been a member of Llandeilo AA for over 35 years, and today I fished waters I’ve never ventured to before. It was a long walk but well worth the effort. I also ditched the nymphs for a team of 3 spiders and it reminded me just how devastatingly effective this technique is!
Can you help !
I was fishing on the River Towie last Friday/Saturday and left my Sage X 10ft 6# rod and Sage 4600 reel on the river bank at the car park as indicated on the map at Glanrhydsaeson
If you know anyone who was walking in this area on Saturday please pass this on . 🙏
