The office for the next 6 weeks. It’s a mammoth construction. Germont, 13 performances, opening March 27.
The stage for La Traviata on Sydney Harbour is almost ready! Watch the moment soprano Stacey Alleaume steps onto the spectacular harbour-side stage for the first time. As construction continues on our pop-up 3,000-seat theatre, Stacey discovers the 3.5-tonne chandelier.

A tribute to one of my idols and closing perf shenanigans from @FestivalOperaNZ Cav and Pag 😂. A big thank you to Maestro José Aparicio for not castigating such craziness and to Glenn Amer, who I’m reunited with now at @operaaustralia for introducing me to Del Monaco years ago

I stopped doing masterclasses a while ago for many reasons, but these young singers at @FestivalOperaNZ are special. I was delighted to work with them last week.

Napier is stunning. They have a lovely opera company @FestivalOperaNZ here and an Art Deco Festival. Don’t miss Napier if you’ll be travelling to NZ, it’s the most beautiful Art Deco city I’ve ever seen.

Thanks Paul! Glad you enjoyed it!
I’ll have what they’re having! Whatever it was, at tonight’s @VictorianOpera hammed up to the hilt 💈Barber of Seville, the comic touches and connection between musicians, artists and audience was a non-stop infectiously entertaining affair. Great singing from big characters!

Opening night BARBER OF SEVILLE!!! Toi toi toi to all cast, crew, @OrchestraVic and Maestro Mills for tonight’s Melbourne opening of @VictorianOpera’s semi-staged Barber. PS... pulled the guitar out to accompany @brenton_spiteri in his cavatina...poor bugger! #carbobarber
