Engine rebuilds are way better than buying a second hand engine. You get basically a new engine for a fraction of the cost a similar engine,The performance & consumption gets 10 times better. Get someone who knows to rebuild though or it will be a money pit.

Hapa nayo they have cooked us, I can’t even move a car from any dealership to my location technically my 2 KDs are useless unless you moving a unit registered to your dealership how do people arrive to this kind of rules

Use of KD plates has a new law purportedly.
Other than a valid dealer licence & insurance, now , movement letters for KDs can only come out if the unit is yours on NTSA portal, so you cant use KD as an individual, it should only be used by dealers who own them. Chaos!

The role of pre purchase inspection is very simple.
Inspect the car & let the client know the exact condition of the car.
Literally speaking you can't get a car that's 100% clean.
However, the client needs to know what (s)he is getting into.
If the gearbox has issues , (s)he knows then makes a decision.
Should (s)he buy the car & fix gearbox later or not ?
Some clients buy cars with serious engine issues . The seller acknowledges the car will need engine replacement & they do the negotiations on that .
Other clients are very specific. They want the car to be an absolute buy and drive. No garage issues. Esp first time buyers.
Our goal is to give the actual truth about that car as it is at the time of inspection .
