Case 93: Susan Snow & Bruce Nickell
When 40-year-old bank manager Susan Snow collapsed in her shower after complaining of a headache, the cause of her sudden death was unclear. During her autopsy, however, a medical examiner noticed a distinctive smell that pointed to a chilling possibility: Susan had been poisoned.
A week earlier, 52-year-old Bruce Nickell had died suddenly from what was believed to be natural causes. But after hearing of Susan’s death, Bruce’s wife Stella began to wonder whether her husband had fallen victim to the same fate.
