Today’s adventure was a perfect was to celebrate 62 and born in ‘62. We found a remote covered 1865 bridge. Later we meandered to the Bookstore Capital of the Catskill (featured this summer on CBS Sunday Morning). Now that’s a Brian McCann kind of day!
Highly original, beautifully poetic, & thoroughly engaging story of an Iranian poet and his search/struggles in loss, relationships, sobriety, and creating art. We are privy to his realities, demons, and dreams all against the backdrop of ongoing Middle East hostilities.
I was thoroughly engrossed in @taffyakner’s Fletcher dysfunctional family in this wonderful new novel. Great story with great characters. I couldn’t put this one down. I look forward to reading her first novel now. Three cheers to LONG ISLAND COMPROMISE!
Honored to have been the opening day keynote for Winchendon Public Schools and lifting them with the No Apology Tour: Back-to-School edition. Wonderful to begin the year with passion, positivity, and a little sparkle.
As my @MSAA_33 and @NASSP colleagues will attest, the job is not easy, fraught with challenges we never imagined, and requiring more tools then even the most Adept Swiss army knife of a person can master. edsurge.com/news/2024-05-15-…
We are having a great first day of school at Manchester jr sr high school! Thank you for the inspiration @casehighprinc #SquireSTEM @gosquires #Squirestrong
Written to be consumed in a beach chair. An engaging & safe summer read w/minimal tension, an interesting premise w/colorful characters, & predictable plot trajectory. 3rd book in Grisham’s series. More like 3.5 stars, but I’ll round up given that I laughed out loud a few times.
ALT “All students will not remember ‘page whatever’ in math or other subjects, but they will remember how you made them feel, the times when you laughed or cried together, the different experiences you gave them beyond the classroom or Chromebook, and the ways you let them know you were proud of them.” —Erlene Monteith, Teacher
Thank you @salkhanacademy for an excellent overview of the positive power and impact AI could have in Education. Your work and insight help me in seeing and understanding AI better for my students. @NAESP@NASSP#principalsUNITED
