This bot is now on Discord, thanks to @CSvenssonApps . I'll post / update the full instructions soon, but if anyone wants to give it a try the bot is currently hosted in discord.gg/acnhhub.
Join the server and type /scan, then give your video file.

Downloading the file can be a bit tricky. You can try the new "send to smartphone" button on Switch, or still send it to Twitter and download it using twittervideodownloader.com/

Wow! it seems like we hit the 1000 tweet per day limit on the API. Unfortunately I will have to turn off the bot for tonight, maybe put some better rate limiting tomorrow... Sorry for the inconvenience.

Took a few days but finally added support for 2.0 items. There are now 922 recipes, 88 reactions and 107 songs. Let me know if anything doesn't work as expected!

Small new feature added today: "missing" lists now have their own list url that can be imported into any app that supports @CatalogScanner
(Note that missing lists are still limited to Recipes, Critters, Reactions and Music.)

Sorry for the delay, but the new items from 1.7.0 are finally supported! There are 4 new reactions (59 total) and 2 new recipes (637 total). No new music or critters. Happy scanning!

The bot currently supports scanning Nook Shopping, DIY recipes, Critterpedia, Reactions and K.K. Slider songs. For an up to date list as well as full instructions, visit nook.lol

Added support for 1.5.0 content. For the collectors, there are now 2 new reactions (46 total) and 14 new recipes (622 total). There are no new critters or songs. Happy catalog scanning!

Looks like the bot is once again shadowbanned. Until I find a fix, you may have to go to @CatalogScanner profile and look for your reply under "Tweets & Replies" section.

Getting reports of CatalogScanner responses not showing up, sorry for the difficulties, it seems like Twitter is marking the bot's tweets as spam. Let me know if you're having issues, otherwise, liking the tweets for the bot may help show Twitter it's not spam.

In the meantime, if you're not seeing the reply, the best solution I've found is to explicitly go to the bot's profile and look at "tweets & replies", your response should be there: x.com/CatalogScanner/with_reā¦
