ive been saying this as someone who was delusional about V3 a while back
jax just feels like a bastardization of the trope, poorly handled and flat with no real complexity beyond “lashes out because sad” “wears a mask to hide true self”
but the fans are pretty much carbon copies
idk if this will make any sense but Jax fans are the gen alpha equivalent of gen z kokichi kinnies

dont get me wrong, kokichi is not..the best written character ever
i have my own qualms with him ESPECIALLY his eng personification compared to his original dialogue
but he’s more…fleshed out? complex? just overall written better, even if the bar is on the floor
