A5: 💯!! Here is my mantra: “I have a passion and a message that I GET to share with others. What and how I write will connect with a variety of people in a variety of ways.” Do I still struggle with self-doubt? Yup. But I know it’s all about that mindset!! #edauthorchat
A3: I have to lean into my community. And I also have to shift my mindset- it’s okay to have slumps or slow periods and often very much needed. Resting in those times can be re-energizing. It also helps to read things that spark curiosity and joy! #edauthorchat
A2: Small wins (like finishing a chapter) give me confidence to keep writing. It might not all happen in the timeframe that I’m shooting for, but it’s getting accomplished! #edauthorchat
A1: It’s challenging to celebrate milestones because I’m always thinking about what’s next. However, I’d like to be more intentional about celebrating progress (ie. length of time dedicated to writing or goal amounts). #edauthorchat
Casey Watts from Texas, here! Passionate about building extraordinary teams that are focused and excited about going to work each day- and that’s what my writing is all about! #edauthorchat
A5: The single most effecting strategy is to network! All it takes is reaching out to someone that you think may point you in the right direction and push aside feelings of inadequacy or insecurity 🥰. #edauthorchat
A4: One of my favorite moments is a long detailed Marco Polo chat with @alcp about the vulnerability of writing and the process that not really explainable until you’ve experienced it. It is refreshing to share so openly about this hard work #edauthorchat
A1: Writing allows me to “brain dump” and cull through the ideas after auditing them against research and through conversations with colleagues. #edauthorchat
Casey from Texas! District Instructional specialist by day and team alignment coach by choice 😄. Success= I completely finished the draft of chapter 1 of my book! #edauthorchat
