I love the development of this friendship, back then Illyana wasn’t sure of scotts support and Scott was learning how to comfort her, but nowadays she confidently regards him as a best friend and scott knows exactly what to say and do when she needs help

This to me is the crux of who scott is and his leadership/mentorship: the one who shoulders the burdens because he doesnt want anyone else to. It's his necessity, not theirs. And post extinction era, scott doesnt want mutant kids to have the childhood he did as a soldier

i havent seen enough fer sifuentes recognition on my tl for the amazing colour job he put on on the cyclops mini, creates a beautiful sense of atmosphere while complimenting and highlighting the line work, loved the development of the colours as the series went on
