My Fellow Citizens of District 8 and the Great State of Utah, Today I declare, without apology or hesitation, that I will not seek re-election to the Utah State Board of Education. I am done lending my name, my vote, and my silence to a broken, corrupt, and morally bankrupt system that no longer serves the children or families of this state. The corruption inside the Utah State Board of Education and the broader educational establishment is not subtle—it is brazen, pervasive, and rotting the soul of public education. Nearly every decision is now driven by not-so-hidden agendas, political cowardice, financial kickbacks, and raw personal ambition—not by what is best for students. The USBE has become a closed club that wages open war on the minds, values, and innocence of our children while systematically stripping parents of any meaningful voice. This is more than mere incompetence; it is betrayal on a grand scale - by the very people you elected. Layer upon layer of dysfunction—mirrored and magnified in the Utah Legislature—has turned governance into a circus of gridlock, self-preservation, and faux theatrical outrage that accomplishes nothing. Good ideas are buried, brave voices are punished, and the status quo is protected at all costs. The chaos is not accidental; it is the design of those who profit from it. I ran for this office to fight for you—your children, your values, your right to be heard. Instead, I have been forced to watch as even the loudest “conservative” voices fold, trade their votes for favor and money, or abandon every promise they made on the campaign trail. The Republican Party platform means nothing inside those walls. The Word of the Lord means even less. Your concerns—about pornography in libraries, radical gender ideology in classrooms, the erosion of academic excellence, and the assault on parental rights—are mocked, ignored, or drowned out by the shrill demands of special interests and the timid silence of those who fear losing their seat more than losing their soul. I will not play this game any longer. I refuse to be a prop in their theatre of fake reform. Serving the families and students of District 8 has been a great honor. You trusted me, you believed in me, and I have fought with everything I have. But the weight of the corruption, the chaos, and the spiritual abuse I have witnessed has become unbearable. Walking away is not surrender—it is the only honest act left to me, and a blazing call for the reckoning this state so desperately needs. My final message to every parent in Utah is blunt and urgent: Get your children out of Utah's government schools as quickly as possible. Real change is not coming. The system is not broken—it is working exactly as the corrupt intend it to work. Your children’s minds, hearts, and futures are not safe inside it. With unyielding resolve and unwavering love for the families of District 8, Christina Boggess

This is one of the main reasons teachers quit. not just the lack of support, but the lack of infrastructure that breeds chaos in a building.

Have you ever held a student accountable and then watched the building override you?

Happens yearly, multiple times.
Has your district ever bought curriculum that you knew on day one was not going to work?

When someone in Utah politics describes a person as “workable,” what they really mean is that person is passive, unprincipled and won’t stand up for themselves. Make no mistake, it is not a compliment.

All schools/districts/LEAs have money. It is how they spend their money that makes them poor.
Your child's school has an assistant superintendent for curriculum, an assistant superintendent for instruction, a director of teaching and learning, and a coordinator of academic services. Your child's teacher has thirty-two kids and no copy paper. This is not a funding problem. It is a priority problem.

Still looks like chaos and corruption in the broader educational establishment.
Deploying a 95% graduation rate to defend a 38.4% college-readiness rate is the ultimate Jedi mind trick in K-12 administration.

This is corruption in the broader educational establishment. Policymakers could choose to help; local leaders could refuse to be complicit in educational malfeasance. Most will choose cowardice and the status quo over actually doing something to prevent the celebration of illiteracy.

Somewhere in America right now, a middle school is promoting a student to high school who cannot read. An elementary school passed them first. Everyone was nice about it. Nobody helped.

Perhaps governing bodies should muster up some courage to establish a system people don’t want to flee!

So Chaffetz got paid Schultz bought the land near the project, Adams got huge donations through MIDA, Cox's family was getting the fiber cable contract, Who else is actively screwing over the people of Utah?
Former Utah Congressman and rumored 2028 candidate for governor, Jason Chaffetz, says he will be compensated for his consulting work connecting the developers of the Stratos data center project planned for Box Elder County to Kevin O'Leary if it comes to fruition. Read: tinyurl.com/yx4jvtd5

This highlighted statement is evidence of so much wrong with Utah politics. We see our elected officials making bad decisions all the time, and we try to reason away their dirty deeds as a policy position as opposed to a series of corrupt acts from a corrupt individual. It also shows what a fraud @MittRomney really was as he regularly schlepped for Democrats.

This so-called ‘comprehensive citizenship review’ from the Lieutenant Governor’s office is not a true audit of Utah’s voter rolls, and we must not pretend otherwise. They reviewed 2,069,640 records, but SAVE, the key federal database for verifying immigration and citizenship status, was only applied to 71,256 records. That’s a tiny fraction of the full voter file. Of those, over 8,900 couldn’t be confirmed as citizens. Another 2,555 records weren’t submitted to SAVE at all due to missing or bad data. After manual review of just 11,431 flagged records, they still found 27 confirmed noncitizens (already removed), 25 likely noncitizens, and left 5,007 registrants whose citizenship status could not be confirmed. While they claim 99.72% are “verifiably” citizens, that relies heavily on self-attestation, old registrations without SSN/DL data, and Driver License Division matches, not rigorous, full-scale federal verification. A real audit would run the entire voter registration list through SAVE and other federal databases, not just a narrow subset after DLD screening. This was a limited, tiered review that leaves thousands unconfirmed and far too much room for error. Utah voters deserve better than this faux audit. Real election integrity means demanding full, systematic verification of every record using all available tools, no exceptions. We will keep pushing until only eligible American citizens are on our rolls. Our elections are too important to settle for half-measures.

Let’s take bets on the accountability measures we will see come forth?

Teaching children to read isn’t rocket science.
Marxist teacher colleges produce credentialed teachers who can't teach basic literacy. Then these same "experts" tell parents without degrees: "Stay out of it." I taught my children to read with time, books, a library card, and direct systematic phonics instruction. You can too. Ignore the "experts."

What is insane is how many people send their children back to a school that engages in such egregious behavior.
THIS IS INSANE Amanda White, a Kansas mother and Goddard City Council Member, SPEAKS OUT after learning that @USD265_Goddard allowed a REGISTERED S*X OFFENDER to chaperone her daughter's 3rd-grade field trip. How was this allowed to happen???

People have to remember this isn’t because people can’t afford lunch. It’s because they refuse to pay for it. Children need are already on the free and reduce lunch program. This is not debt of the under privileged.
School lunch debt in Utah is expected to surpass $4 million this year, according to the founder of a nonprofit working to pay off meal balances for students across the state. kutv.com/news/education/fift…

I homeschool my youngest. He’s 7 now. My older 3 all went through public school. And I was a public school teacher, but now teach at a homeschool co-op. And I have an MEd. I’ve been all over education, and I couldn’t agree with your post more. Homeschooling is the future.

Nothing could be more untrue! Education should be aligned with the ACADEMIC skills children need to enter advanced learning.
America’s education system should align with our workforce needs. Workforce Pell will open up federal student aid to high-quality, short-term credential programs tied directly to in-demand careers.

Homeschooling is the future It could save America
"In the 1970s, there were about 13,000 homeschoolers." "In the 80s, there were 200,000 homeschoolers. The 90s, 850,000." "And so far, four or five years into the 2020s, there's over 5 million homeschoolers." "And that number is rising."

Looks like corruption in the broader educational establishment!
🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Trump Education Sec. Linda McMahon just found out that DEAD PEOPLE were getting student loans from the federal government BILLIONS of dollars are now being saved. "There were BOTS, ghost students, dead people getting these loans. We enforced and tweaked the entire system so we have real-time fraud identity now." Finally, you have to actually PROVE you're a real person. Unbelievable this was not already the case!

But…. The Utah government and our elected officials have been saying this isn’t true…. Perhaps we should believe our pocketbook instead.
