This is so strange. When I informed @Equifax agent that I will be recording this call, she stated that when consumers record calls, their calls are released and have to disconnect; and she hung up. I called 1 (866) 204-9044 on Jan 5 at 13:38 ET.
If I should get a replacement. This is shoddy customer service. People not returning calls, then being told different things and the person I put the complaint into is the same person who decides if I get a new tv or not. I was told there is no one else I can speak to. 3/
Consumers are allowed to record calls in Canada. The law permits such recordings as long as one person in the conversation is aware the recording is taking place. It's called "one-party notification".
First please tell me, if Equifax can record telephone calls, why canβt a consumer record calls as a proof of what is promised by an Equifac agent? @cbcErica@cbcmarketplace@cbcgopublic
Surprising they don't know that homeopathy is quackery. But placebo effect works 30% of the time, so perhaps that misleads people into thinking the products work.
Iβm not particularly surprised. A few years ago, I encountered this when looking for something for myself and was recommended to use a homeopathic product by a pharmacist.
Unfortunately, that's not accurate. Homeopathy is based on the (scientifically unproven) theory that the more an active ingredient is diluted, the stronger it becomes. #quackery
