i must update that i am at a resale bookstore picked up a copy of Dante's Inferno and opened it to this EXACT SAME TRANSLATOR'S NOTE
thinking about this translator's note for translated works—but also how we take a thought, feeling, or experience and attempt to give it form as best we can. this metaphor is beautiful 🥹💙

I’m gonna simply say this: if you are at all interested in a Stargate show with ANY of the original creators/performers involved, now is the time to say something. Otherwise it really will be the end of that chapter forever. Let them know you are THERE
Hey Stargate Fans please let @amazon and @AmazonMGMStudio know how you feel about them cancelling #Stargate They MOCK us. They think they don't need us. Let them know what you think of that. I won't be watching ANY other Stargate that is created without the OG creators /Gero being involved. I'm DONE with studios SHITTING ON THE FANS AND KILLING IPS WE LOVE. #stargate #stargatecanceled #amazon #amazonstudios #amazonmgmstudio

Tash Cloud is a champion and a consistent winner, but don't forget she's starting from scratch with a new agent. She probably wants to be on a winning team, but the only teams with money left are expansion teams and rebuilds. So those negotiations take time.

Fever signed Pissott to a Developmental contract, so the remaining six guards are competing for 3 roster spots and a Developmental contract. Harris and Walker-Kimbrough aren't eligible for Developmental spots. x.com/IndianaFever/status/20…

we have signed rookie, Justine Pissott, to a player development contract ✍️🔥 learn more: buff.ly/ixDPdAH

Or it's possible Johnson could be one the backup guards for POA defense, with a vet on the bench. Or a vet guard could get cut and Pissott might be on the bench for more size with 2 guards on the developmental roster. Your guess is as good as mine. But this is my prediction now.

Anyway, AAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHH! I'm so excited for the draft and for this season. A lot of teams have gotten better in free agency already. It's going to be a fun season.

Clearly I don't know anything about the draft, but I love the way Raven Johnson's game, love her defense, and I can't wait to see her develop.

This is awesome. @raecarson created true magic in a deliriously short amount of time. (making novelizations is a true challenge that only certain authors are really equipped to do, much less do well.)
Using this as an opportunity to say that the Expanded Novelization for The Rise Of Skywalker is one of my favorite Star Wars books ever. Honestly such an exceptionally written novelization that truly adds so much more to the story. Whether you love or loathe Episode IX, I feel you’ll ultimately appreciate it a little more after giving this novelization a read. Billions must read. Highly recommend!
