No it does not!!! 32 Days!!
But I did learn a #traumasensitive lesson today. While we as teachers and many of our students may be thrilled about summer, there are those students who are dreading the summer. School is where they feel safe.

to the time that they won’t have a place to escape the trauma for two months.
It made me rethink how I celebrate the winding down of a chaotic year for sure.

I will still celebrate and countdown, but I will also intentionally be mindful of those students who aren’t looking forward to what’s in store in a few weeks.
