Spent a day of our Spring Break with the House Education Committee in a round table discussion. I am horrible at getting pictures but I did grab these two. Rep. Schreiber is a blessing to Kansas. Brent Yeager, Adrian Howie, Darren Schroeder, Justin Coup, Stu Moeckel were great.

Cheerleader is one of my favorite roles as @BuhlerUSD313 superintendent. At #KEENjoy2024 I got to cheer on Buhler’s ELA team as they presented AND cheer on my #KansasLEADS team as they shared about the work we have been doing. Proud of my colleagues!!

The State Board of Education approved hiring Frank Harwood, a former teacher, principal and superintendent with 30 years of experience in public education, as the new Deputy Commissioner of Fiscal and Administrative Services at KSDE. More info will be released Wednesday, Jan. 10.
