I also scored 19/20. It is interesting that a 5% error rate puts us in the top 11%, which suggests that the results are not normally distributed.
I scored 19/20 on MIST-20, better than 89% of the US population. Test your misinformation susceptibility now! What is #YourMIST? 🧐 yourmist.streamlit.app #misinformation #fakenews

I think the worst thing about writing a book is 1) I have many things that need doing that aren’t sitting in front of my computer, and 2) having to sit down and write anyway. It makes me feel guilty if I do it and guilty if I don’t.

I finished drafting chapter 14 of my book, Our Last Renovation, so I feel like I've accomplished something today. If you're interested in reading how we renovated our home to age in place, you can follow along at carlhowe.com/our-last-renova…. I hope to finish the book by summer.

This 25-year old advertisement created by Boston philanthropist Jack Conners and published anonymously was reprinted in today's Boston Globe. At this time of year, may all those who have more than enough do what they can for those who don't. carlhowe.com/photos/generosi…

Went to the Boston Opera House to see &Juliet for the 5th time last night and we are going again tonight. Go see it for a joyous Shakespearean evening of singing, dancing, and being able to make our own choices. #AndJuliet

Also, non-Tesla EV makers need to up their software and user interface skills. The Ioniq UI seems like just a surface layer added onto a traditional car. Navigation, voice recognition, and driving assist functions all seem like siloed worlds and aren’t integrated.

Avis gave us a Hyundai Ioniq 5 instead of the Tesla M3 we reserved. We now realize how difficult charging is for folks who can’t use the Tesla supercharger network. Chargers are in poor locations, stalls are few, and all seem to be on different incompatible networks. Sad.

Tonight, I plopped my iPhone 15 on a tripod, pointed it west, hit capture, and this is the comet photo I got, despite all the skyglow from the full moon. iPhone cameras have gotten incredibly good. #iPhone

We are about to leave the Diesta del Pilar in Zaragoza, Spain. It has been amazing to see more than 100,000 people bring flowers to this plaza and build this tribute to their Madonna.

🚨#BREAKING: Boeing's Starliner crew are reporting hearing strange "sonar like noises" emanating from the spacecraft

📌#OuterSpace | #Earth

Crews on the International Space Station are trying to identify the source of strange noises reported by Boeing’s Starliner crew, who contacted Mission Control saying, ‘Houston, on two, we have a question about Starliner. We are hearing strange noises coming from the speaker, and we don’t know what’s causing it.’ The Starliner began emitting these ‘strange sonar noises,’ and astronauts on the ISS are working to diagnose the issue, which occurred on Saturday. Since the launched by Boeing on June 5th, the Starliner has faced several problems and significant challenges, temporarily stranding two astronauts. Due to safety concerns, Boeing’s Starliner is set to return on September 6th with no crew on board.
