The deepest loch in Scotland (and the UK) is Loch Morar. At 310 metres (1,017 feet), it would submerge The Shard, the tallest building in the UK.
Outside Scotland, Wastwater in the Lake District is the deepest, at 79 metres, which would come up about 25% of The Shard.*
