Check out our new work for @cedar_research! Using the register data of 17 million Danes and Swedes we were able to estimate the genetic correlation between multiple eating- and psychiatric disorders. We found new correlations with autism and OCD!

CEDaR postdoc @helena_davies_ was in Singapore this week for #WCPG2024 presenting preliminary findings on her project exploring pleiotropic effects of #eatingdisorder genetics 👇 🧬

She also gave a talk on the progress and challenges of her previous work on the @SGDPCentreKCL's Anti-Racism Working Group, highlighting the need for proactive dismantling of racism and the avoidance of complacency in our research and work environment.

🌏CEDaR postdoc @DrElenaJansen and PhD student @brieva_anna are in Istanbul this week for the eprObes meeting!
eprObes is a large European consortium including various disciplines and studies aimed at preventing obesity throughout an individual's life course.

Our PhD student Dorthe Andersen Waage (@dorthewaage) presented her project on the influence of family-based therapy on families, and co-led a workshop on how to support families in treatment alongside Senior Researcher Signe Holm Pedersen!
