I made a tool that creates real-time audio effects using the integrated FIR filter in the SPC700. Here's a demo. Full video explaining all the gory details linked in the replies!

I can't overstate how I'm relieved I am to be conscious enough to not take this lore for granted.
PARC one-shotted the desktop metaphor in the seventies and since then nothing new has happened.

This is a mod to which I've been looking forward ever since Opatus figured out how to get a clean digital signal out of the PPU. The flex pcb looks great but lifting the pins on the PPU is a bit gnarly!
The flexible polyamide adapter for the SNES digital video output has been delivered. Superswitch HD.

Worth mentioning there is an open source version being developed for people who'd prefer something more DIY x.com/fliperama86/status/203…

This is SuperPico Digital, an HDMI internal mod for a 2-chip SNES that I’ve been working on. It’s still in the early research and development stage (no audio, no brightness control, etc.), but it works! I’m currently using the NeoPico HD PCB for testing, but I’m developing a specific FPC and PCB for it. Stay tuned :) github.com/fliperama86/super…

I have just made our latest product (Modos Flow) open-source: gitlab.com/zephray/enchanter. With complete source code (for both MCU and FPGA) and PCB design source file in KiCAD. It's a 300-ppi Eink portable monitor with 60Hz refresh rate and touch screen:

I've always wanted to make music on the SEGA Master System. How about you? Very, very excited and happy to introduce you to smsggdj, a fully-featured tracker for SEGA Master System and Game Gear that runs natively on hardware and emulation. Out now on my github #chiptune

I've seen Jake work his butt off for the past five years, experimenting and having fun with music styles we're still not even yet sure what to call. It honestly takes guts. As someone who makes a niche tool that supports musicians on this path, this is everything to me. Congrats
I am so proud to announce that i have signed with Flying Lotuses record label @BRAINFEEDER home to such artists as Thundercat, Louis Cole, Hiatus Kaiyote, Kamasi Washington and more. “Super Button Masher” drops 9/4/26 “Magic Dragon Ride” out today thank you @flyinglotus

At this point I'm convinced the term "Homelab" itself was conceived as guerrilla marketing to get people into buying extra mid-tier computing hardware.

Why yes, I did just manually write an entire WebRTC stack just so I can receive encrypted calls from my SIP-connected analog phone to my iPhone. It's 2026, you can just do things!

Due to the hacky and exploratory nature of this project, I started writing the WebRTC stack before I knew I was writing something that would generally work with other WebRTC peers. Now that I know, it probably would have been better to just use libwebrtc. 😆

I'm unpinning this because it was unfruitful. Passive requests like this are doomed to fail. I'm going to try another approach.
Is anyone who follows me living in Japan and willing to collaborate on producing video interviews of SNES composers? Please retweet for more exposure if this is something you'd like to see.

It turns out that reading and understanding code you didn't write is harder than writing code.
