U "in no hurry to make a final agreement on the rail line"??! http://bit.ly/cX7bG5 In that case, I'm in no hurry to donate to my Alma Mater.

First more stations, now a down payment on the line. Thanks, FTA! @laurayuen_mpr: Way to be the bearer of good news! http://bit.ly/avLuFN

MPR: We might sue. FTA: So what? (Evidently the Obama FTA cares more about social equity concerns than MPR's concerns.) http://bit.ly/cGXVCO

Three new stops = fantastic news. The best part: more equitable transit. The second best part: can you say Mai (Transit) Village?

Given what the Hiawatha line is like, I understand the misconception of LRT being "suburban". Reality: streetcars are nice but so slow.
Those who prefers streetcars to LRV on University should visit SF or PDX. They're great for tourists but have limited capacity (like buses.)
Peter Bell: U says it supports transit, "But as my mother used to say to me, 'Actions are much stronger than words.'" http://bit.ly/23MFwl

Many challenges left, but great that @MayorColeman will stick around to be the mayor who brought rail back to St. Paul: http://bit.ly/3qKEHb

Another transpo committee tidbit: Peter Bell says the Met Council and the U are close to resolving CCLRT concerns: the http://bit.ly/Blthv

MNPost: St Paul legislators seeking state funds for more CCLRT stations: http://bit.ly/2InAwK

The U is willing to play a serious game of chicken on LRT. Its students, however, don't seem to realize it's bluffing: http://bit.ly/49l3eP

Too many great transit lines (eg BART in SF) open up only to find construction has destroyed retail. Let's avoid this. http://bit.ly/2342SJ

Lawsuit! If only the U would fight tuition hikes as hard as it's fought this truck- and car-free transit mall route: http://bit.ly/3nf7vU

Eva Ng evidently doesn't understand that dt St. Paul is a vestige of great transit. Without it there will be no growth: http://bit.ly/182DXq

SW LRT to be more expensive than the Central Corridor, with only 2/3 the ridership and virtually no urban stops. Crazy. http://bit.ly/3qVW7a
