Every day, students at NCHS line the doors of their classrooms, restless as the lunch bell gets closer. Their destination is obvious: the cafeteria - specifically, the Nish-Nosh deli counter, where Maria Villagram stands day after day, turning out wraps like it’s second nature.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨 In an email sent by Principal Jackie Thornton on Friday, May 1, a pre-recorded threat was reported to Naperville police before noon regarding Naperville Central. There is an increased police presence around NCHS as a precaution.

UPDATE: Naperville Police say Thursday night’s threat against Naperville Central came from an unknown caller at 7:38 p.m. More than a dozen similar threats have been reported in Naperville in the last 10 days. The FBI is assisting with the investigation.
