👏A positive step to connect young workers with real experience at a time when youth employment challenges are rising across Canada. It aligns with CFIB research on the value of work-integrated learning, apprenticeships, & removing barriers so small firms can hire/train youth.

Yesterday, I joined @GlobalWinnipeg to discuss why Manitoba entrepreneurs are concerned about the possibility of employer-paid sick days. Businesses want clarity & consultation, & they need government to understand the added costs new labour mandates could place on small firms.
Small businesses are worried over a potential policy which would make them pay for five sick days a year.
