To this day I think it’s still incredibly impressive that PC reached 13.8% rating with only 12 episodes. Call me petty, but after all the nonsense we’ve had to endure from right-wingers and kdramatwt, I kind of hope it holds on to the #1 record until the end of the yearπŸ˜‚πŸ€ž

the most generic romcom scenes were labeled plagiarism when pc did them but for everyone else itʼs just parallels and deja vu 😹 perfect crown was basically the punching bag of kdramatwt

Whenever "progressive" overseas K-pop stans buy into some IU mess in Korea, I always kinda laugh because most of the time nowadays it's politically motivated and they're parroting right-wing psychos, lol.
Several celebrites (named in the article: #IU #LeeDongWook #SNSD #Yuri) suffered unexpected unreasonable demands where they were asked to prepay for snacks or support the rally in Jamsil, where people protests due to shortage of ballot during elections. Critics point out that forcing one's political views onto celebrities in form of "comment terror" is far from a mature democracy. Some comments on the SNS "You supported them (citizens) in the past, why are you silent this time", "You will send coffee truck to Jamsil right?" In Dec 2024, celebrities named above were seen supporting the citizens who joined the rally for the former president, Yoon Suk-yeol, impeachment. Some netizens arguing that they should provide the same support for the protest. However, some also argued that the past good deeds can't lead to an obligation to support every social & political issue in the future. Critics pointed out that donations are voluntary act, based on individual values and judgment. Demanding the same behavior, just because they did a good deed in the past, or criticizing those who didn't, is an attitude that's far from a mature democratic citizen. What happened during the election? Several areas had their citizens waited more due to shortage of ballot papers. In Jamsil 7, 2 ballot boxes were taken out 35 hours after voting closed as protesters demanding the suspension of vote counting. Roh Tae-ak, the chairman of National Election Commission, offered his resignation following the incident and NEC stated that the issue does not constitute grounds for postponing the election or re-election. The polling stations in Jamsil 7 is now relocated and protesters continue to gather, blocking the entrances while waving Korean flag, and holding signs, "Dissolve the NEC", "Re-election". m.entertain.naver.com/now/ar… #KoreanUpdates VF
