Introducing almondvoice.com: ultra-fast voice typing for Mac. Not only is Almond 3x faster than the #1 cloud alternative, but it runs 100% locally on your Mac, making it infinitely more private. This is because Almond is architecturally different. Rather than sending your speech to a cloud LLM to "think" and return cleaned-up text (which is slow, unpredictable, and a privacy nightmare), Almond uses rule-based linguistic processing, enabling unparalleled speed and accuracy. Almond adapts to your writing style, supports custom vocabulary, personal shortcuts, name tagging in Slack, and file tagging for developers. Whether you've never tried voice typing or you're already using a cloud alternative, give Almond a try. You'll feel the difference immediately. Try it free for Mac today: almondvoice.com

the next mobile app billionaire will be made in 2025 og app days (2008-2015): - ship basic app - hit app store feature - become millionaire overnight dark ages (2015-2022): - facebook ate your money - app store turned into walmart - needed millions to compete - growth was pain abundance age (2025 ): - new ai apis drop daily - tiktok = free real estate - users excited about ai apps - market wide open - fastest distribution ever why you should care: - build time? weeks not years - marketing cost? basically zero - no clear winners yet - timing? perfect storm the playbook: - one ai feature that is different - dead simple mobile app - ship in 30 days max - charge $12.99/month - post 2x a day tiktok/ig (multiple accounts) - find your viral format - rinse and repeat - scale till it hurts next 12 months: - copycats flood in - distribution separates winners - short-form video drives everything - early movers win big - mass adoption goes crazy 2008 gave us app store millionaires 2025 will give us ai app billionaires never been a better time than now to build

how i'd build a $200k MRR mobile app in 2025: 1. Find your target app - check app store charts for successful but outdated apps ($300k /month) - look for consistent revenue poor UX strong retention - focus on boring categories with loyal users - use tools like SensorTower for revenue data 2. Build the AI version - identify their most-used feature (usually just one) - rebuild it with AI, making it 10x faster/easier - keep it ultra simple - build in 2 weeks max 3. Copy their user acquisition - study their ads on Meta/TikTok/Instagram - check for affiliate programs - find their best-performing content 4. Growth strategy - make better versions of their viral content - post 2x/day on TikTok, 1x/day on Reels - focus on hook → demo format - partner with micro-creators (cheap monthly deals) - scale winning content with paid ads - add viral features (sharing, referrals) tldr: find outdated but profitable apps, rebuild their main feature with AI, copy their marketing, scale fast 2025 will be the year of small AI apps overtaking legacy giants time to build, we're in this together

Offices are overrated. You can generate massive value from anywhere using: • AI agents • Virtual assistants • UGC • Code copilots The biggest differentiator now? Original ideas, perspectives and connection - which don’t come from traditional workspaces. Which come from - Traveling - Coworking with new people - Talking shop in the sauna

my hot take is that you're building an app, you shouldn't listen to anyone but yourself the most successful founders I know have delusional levels of conviction in their vision and themselves the people who never start? they're waiting for someone else to validate their idea "you need feedback, an MVP, the perfect roadmap..." no—you need to go all in, build something real, and get it in people's hands only then does feedback matter it's time to forget the "lean startup" playbook and bet on yourself

six months ago, I knew nothing about making apps - I couldn’t code - I had 0 funding or resources - I didn’t know the first thing about marketing - I constantly wrestled with self-doubt but I wanted financial freedom so I made the scariest decision of my life I left my job, packed everything I owned into my rusty Toyota, and drove across the country from the Midwest to California no safety net, no plan B, no turning back now I wake up to notifications I once thought were a pipe dream i'm going to be sharing everything I've learned about building apps, getting your first customer, growing to $10k MRR, and betting on yourself more to come soon

Waitlists, prototypes, and endless customer interviews are mostly a distraction. The only real way to validate your idea is to actually make the thing.
