The Phnom Penh court already confirmed to pre-trial detention of Mr. Mech Dara in Phnom Penh. He is charged with criminal incitement for the social media posts on September 20, 23, 26, 28, and 29, 2024.

Cambodia Journalist Mech Dara was arrested while he was on the way with his family between Koh Kong and Kompong Som province. There is no confirmation yet about his charge.
