📌Digital Assets Working Group will develop a regulatory framework by 1) Implementing a market structure and defining what is a digital asset, a security, commodity, collectible, etc. 2) Extending the dollar’s dominance through stablecoins and 3) Evaluating a national stockpile for digital assets.
📌Sacks says he believe Trump coin to be a collectible like a baseball card and is not concerned about a potential conflict of interest for the President by launching it.
📌Sacks says CBDCs are a threat to freedom and liberty and stablecoins are a much better option.
📌He says extending the dollar’s dominance digitally could create trillions of dollars of demand for US Treasuries. “It could be really useful to us and in in basically supporting our debt and also bringing down long term interest rates.”
