Excellent work @charlierjo! Sub-optimal animal health represents a significant constraint on efficient livestock production and adds to the carbon footprint of livestock farming. Parasitic worms are right up there in terms of their, often hidden, contribution! 🐑 🪱 🐄 🐐

Today we’re at the jointly organised event on parasite control and sustainable practices. ⁦@charlierjo⁩ highlights the high costs of worm control (and associated emissions) - €2 billion/yr. He points out that only 0.15% of this amount is invested in #AnimalHealth research.
