I spend most of #MaxFunDrive writing things on behalf of the company. Which means I am generally too tired to write things on my own accounts. And I am! I am very tired! MaxFunDrive is full of fun stuff and also is exhausting! But I'm gonna try to write something anyway. 🧵

Cory coined the term "enshittification" to describe so much of what is happening to commerce today, as more businesses try to be "platforms" or "marketplaces." This is unfortunately true in media as well.

Some folks think $5/mo isn't enough to really matter. Wrong!
The difference between giving $0 & $5 is not $5. It's basically infinity. It's the amount where a lil kid says 'this much!' and spreads their arms out as far as they can. It cannot be measured.

I will not lie, #MaxFunDrive is a lot of fun but also totally exhausting, and I cannot wait to listen to this while grocery shopping this weekend.
