Lee was born in the town and is a life long fan of the club and previously served as an Associate Director between 2008 and 2013 and is a current Vice President. Lee is shortly to retire as a Managing Director at a leading financial institution after a 38 year career. Talking about the appointment, Michelle Harness, Chair, said: "Over the last three years Lee has already provided considerable assistance to the club and I am delighted that he has accepted our invitation to join the Board where I am sure his financial and business acumen will prove invaluable as we look to further develop the club both on and off the field." Lee added: "Michelle and her fellow owners have done a remarkable job at ensuring we all still have a club to be proud of in the town.
