It was so much fun seeing all of my former ASL IV Ss I taught 4 years ago (ASL I) make friends and have fun with my former Ss at St. Rita School for the Deaf I taught many years ago. Great experience for everyone!
ASLIV Ss hosted St.Ritas showing them their favorite classes. All Ss learned, practiced communication and made new friends. Shout out to all staff that helped pull this off! @EAST_HAWKS@LakotaDistrict@cherryASLdeaf
Update from MS State Track Meet. New school 4x800 record (8:57.59) and a 6th place state finish. Great job Boys MS Track. (Luke Robinson,Carson Cherry,Cade Wojnicz and Ryne Reynolds) pictured
I reminded my 3 children who have their drivers license, but a good reminder for myself and all drivers. We have all seen drivers on their phones and shake our heads. Let’s be a positive example to our students. #WEareLakota@EAST_HAWKS@FirebirdTweets@Lakota_Central

You may be wondering, why are we playing Mario Kart in ASL club? Well it wasn’t until 2013 that deaf people were allowed to fully get their drivers license. Deaf drivers are statistically proven to be better drivers due to less distractions leading to better concentration.
